  • In taxonomy, the group that includes all eukaryotes. In the widely used five-kingdom classification system, the Eukarya is ranked as a superkingdom containing the kingdoms Protoctista, Animalia, Fungi, and Plantae. In the three-domain classification system, Eukarya is the domain containing the kingdoms Protoctista, Animalia, Fungi, and Plantae.
