We seek in Paleobiology a broad spectrum of paleobiological thought in both paleobotany and paleozoology, including studies of invertebrates and vertebrates, from both neontologists and paleontologists. We envision that most volumes will deal with biological or paleobiological aspects of morphology, biogeochemistry (organic and inorganic), populations, faunal provinces, communities and ecosystems. Emphasis should be on biological or paleobiological processes. This includes speciation, extinction, development of individuals or of colonies, natural selection, evolution, or patterns of variation, abundance and distribution, in space and time. Historical analysis of paleobiological themes is also welcome
